I am an artist graduaded in fine arts from the Icelandic Arts Academy. I have almost exclusively worked with textiles in my artmaking. My fasination with fabrics, threads and the joy of creating with textiles is owed to my uppbringing. As a tailors daughter I played with fabrics from an early age inspiring me to not only put things together with needle and thread or yarn but to sculpt and shape textiles into works of art or clothing or both.
I am playful in my art and focus on a positive perspective on life.
